The Story
Why we built this from Abuja
TalkSense started as a personal frustration. Running a startup in Abuja means wearing every hat — product, sales, marketing, customer support — simultaneously. Keeping an active X presence, the kind that builds genuine trust and drives inbound, requires consistency that is hard to maintain when you're also shipping code and closing deals.
The existing automation tools either felt too expensive for early-stage use, too opaque about what the AI was actually doing, or too aggressive — the kind that post ten times a day and reply to everything in a way that makes your brand feel like a bot rather than a human.
We wanted something that would give us our time back without giving away our brand voice. Something that would be transparent about every decision it made. Something that understood that an account suspension isn't just a technical inconvenience — for a founder, it can mean losing a distribution channel you've built over years.
So we built it. TalkSense is the tool we wanted to exist: affordable for the African market, priced in Naira, integrated with the payment rails people actually use here, and architected around safety and control from the very first commit.
